South East Asia Backpacker Magazine sponsored a 3-day photography seminar in Chiang Mai, Thailand with two great photographers Dylan and Shawn (Shawn’s work). Next to SEA Backpacker office is a good coffee place, Just FYI.
We are on Day two (Day one is over there ← ) and today we are going to cover portrait, water, HDR and night photography in and around Chiang Mai.
I don’t care where you go in the world, ancient civilizations always put their stuff on top of a mountain, hill side, cave, or bug infested jungle and to make things worst they create these elaborate mile-long staircases just to test your endurance. And, if they couldn’t find a damn mountain or some remote location they’d build one just for spite, Wat Doi Suthep, a Buddhist temple, is just such a place.
We stop for a snack before we head for the waterfall; fried rice packed in intestine and roasted on a stick. We passed up the other delicacies.
Into the hills (HDR)
